This Knightly sword is intended for stage and sport combat; it has a thick, EN45 high carbon steel blade with blunted edges and a weight-reducing central fuller. The hilt is steel and the leather-wrapped grip has a core of wood. The sword tang is robustly peened to the pommel to ensure a durable hilt construction.

The wooden scabbard is overlaid in tight leather and is finished with an integrated and adjustable sword belt with an antiqued brass buckle.

It was designed by John Browning, and was the standard-issue sidearm for the United States Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985. It was widely used in World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
